Mary Goulty Services Director Born in Leicester Mary started with Headway Leicester in early 2005. Her background in Social Services and Health has given her some very useful transferable knowledge. Mary says “I really enjoy working in the voluntary sector and I work with an incredible group of people each day bringing a new challenge. I am still amazed by the commitment and drive of our staff and volunteers, they make such a difference to those who access our service.” In her role as Services Director she has found she has to wear many ‘hats’. “You have to have a little bit of knowledge about everything here. I often find myself fixing or unblocking things in between writing reports and attending meetings. I wouldn’t want it any other way.”	Alison Leight Fundraiser
Diane Jacques Admin Assistant Diane joined Headway in October 2006 as the administrative assistant on a part-time basis. Her responsibilities include supporting staff with the day-to-day admin tasks as well as producing the new monthly bulletin, formerly “Headlines”. She is often the first point of call when someone contacts the organisation. Before joining Headway, Diane gave up her work as a business administration assessor to help raise her young family. Diane says “Headway is such a wonderful place to work and it’s very rewarding working with dedicated staff who enthuse and inspires the lives of the members.”	Christine Tansey Admin Assistant (Finance) Chris joined Headway in October 2003 as Admin Officer for finance after working for various companies in and around Leicester. She deals with all aspects of the day to day financial side of Headway Leicester including cash handling, banking, paying and receiving invoices and paying of staff salaries. After working for profit-led companies she is much happier in a caring, non-profit led environment. The part-time hours and friendly working atmosphere make it possible to jugle working with running a home and looking after small grandchildren.
