- Lunch Club – an opportunity to volunteer in a service catering for people in the community under the guidance of a College tutor.
- Independent Cookery – Shop for, prepare and make (and eat) a variety of different meals.
Digital Photography –
- Level One – Basic photography skills using digital cameras and transferring
images to print.
- Level Two – Digital manipulation of images using photographic software
Painting & Decorating –
- Basic painting & decorating techniques for use in the home
Press Gang –
- Be part of a creative team producing newsletters and other written materials
Art & Craft –
- Original projects to explore your creativity
Woodwork –
- Producing pieces for personal use, sale or exhibition
I.T. -
- Year One – Introduction to word processing, emails and internet skills.
- Year Two – Preparation for certificate/diploma in computing
Fosse Neighbourhood Centre (Leicester College)
- Skills for Life – an opportunity to improve Literacy and Numeracy skills and develop experience using a computer.
In-house 1:1 learning
- An opportunity to re-learn skills lost following the brain injury. This can lead to college attendance for those lacking confidence.
