Take 12 swimmers, one pool, two hours and mix together well in luxurious surroundings and you have a very successful Headway sponsored swim!

Staff, volunteers and members took part in the event held on 6th April at Cannons Health Club and raised £1,300, with more money still to come in. A really successful event and thank you to everyone who took part, either as a swimmer or a sponsor, and to Cannons Health Club for providing the venue.

Headway members, Chris Batchelor, Bob Marsden, Margaret Fordham, Ben Dixon and Emma Smith managed an amazing number of lengths and everyone is keen to hold the event again next year.


Following the swim and a quick dip in the Jacuzzi, everyone was presented with a signed certificate of achievement by Dr Laurence Howard, President of Headway.
