Building work to extend the day centre commenced in March 2005, leaving only staff offices available for use on the first floor. The day centre has been relocated for three months to the Mayflower Church Hall, ½ a mile away, with as little disruption to the daily routine of those attending
the day centre as possible.

The work is now completed and the extended building will give our clients so much more flexible and accessible space for activities.

We are still fundraising for the building work and are currently seeking in the region of £30,000 to finish the work, including the refurbishment of the existing areas. Currently two national trust funds are considering applications for funding and we are busy sourcing funds from local organisations, groups and businesses.
