Improving lives after brain injury since 1990
Headway Leicester celebrates 30 years of supporting local individuals and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland whose lives have been affected by an acquired brain injury (ABI).
We’re proud of our achievements but as a forward-thinking charity we are already focused on the next thirty years. We want to improve and continue to keep Headway Leicester at the forefront of providing support and rehabilitation for people living with a brain injury.
Due to COVID-19 many of our events and celebrations have had to be cancelled. However, keep an eye on our website and social media just in case we decide to hold something virtually!
Local brain injury survivors need our support more than ever. From 3 June until 15 July we need your support so we can help to provide specialist support at our Digital Day Centre. We are aiming to raise £1500 through our Aviva Community Fund crowdfunding project which will enable us to pay for tech equipment, resources to send out
Michael Condon, who has been volunteering with Headway Leicester for just nine months has been on a fundraising mission and today (which is also his birthday!) dyed his hair to help us raise vital funds for our Digital Day Centre which launches on Monday 1 June. Supporters have been donating and pledging which new hair colour they would like!
